Join chef Andrée Riffou for her annual pilgrimage to one of France’s most intriguing cultural regions. You’ll explore the cities of Tarbes, Pau and Lourdes, nestled in the shadow of the Pyrenees and near the border with Spain. Andrée delights in sharing with her fellow travelers her extensive knowledge of the region and her passion for its gastronomic treasures.

  • Royalty, Maison Berger — The iconic French pâtissier, glacier, traiteur and chocolatier
  • Gabriel Bachelet, Fromager Affineur — Revered for its farmstead and artisanal cheeses
  • Château Montus — One of the great terroirs of the Madiran appellation and the flagship domain of the region’s leading winemaker, Alain Brumont.

This is an idyllic gastronomic getaway. Each day you’ll tour the markets, take in the sights, soak up the history and learn from the experts as you help prepare quintessential French meals.
