*COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

For the safety of our guests, physical barriers have been installed in our kitchen to protect participants. There will be no sharing of tools or ingredients and hand-washing and sanitation protocols are in effect. Classes are limited to 8 participants, or 5 couples (applies to certain classes). Face masks are to be worn on the premises when not at your cooking station.

Should you need to cancel due to illness (COVID or other), your registration will be carried over to the next available class, or credited for future use. Refunds are only possible if cancellations are more the 48 hours in advance.

Friday, December 4th - Menu: Lobster Bisque with a Dill Sauce Lobster Cake, Orange, Cranberry and Ginger Glazed Chicken Thighs and Lemon Curd Crumble (allergies and food restrictions note ; this menu contains alcohol, dairy products, gluten, pork, mushrooms and nuts). 

Friday, December 11th - Menu: Vegetarian Menu: Marinated Cattail Heart, Greens Salad, Creamy Tomato Barley Risotto, and Spiced Poached Pear with Tahini Caramel Sauce.

Thursday, December 17th - Menu: Beef Tartar Wild Foraged Condiments, Maple Smoked Bacon Wrap Guinea Fowl Medallion Balsamic, Fig and Maple Sauce and a Petit Pot de Chocolat.

Friday, December 18th - Menu: Duck Confit Salad with a Raspberry Vinaigrette, Pan Seared Bison Tenderloin - Balsam Fir Tips Oven Roasted Root Vegetables and Gingerbread Upside-down Apple Pudding.

A menu inspired by Canadian ingredients and traditional Canadian food. Discover some of Canada's boreal ingredients while mastering techniques and creating succulent dishes.

How to debone a chicken, with chef Georges. Learn how to efficiently maximize the purchase of a whole chicken. You'll receive coaching and tips & tricks for a gateway recipe that will launch a multitude of possibilities for meals and menus. Tips on butchering, portioning, cooking the different parts of a whole chicken. Knowing how to do this will save you money on your grocery bill!!!

In addition to preparing and eating a meal during the class, participants bring home all unused, butchered parts of the whole chicken.

"Last night my friend and I attended an excellent 3 hour knife skills course with Chef Georges. This was, by far, the most useful and active cooking class I've taken. No standing around watching other people doing things. Georges gets you chopping onions, shallots, garlic, peppers, herbs, eggplant, tomatoes, carrots, etc. Georges shared great tips and techniques. If you're visiting Ottawa, try to get into one of these workshops. So great!"

Teen Chef Series 3

Teen Chef - Winter Classes

Hands-on Class - Mondays, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

C’est Bon Cooking’s Teen Chef classes go much further by engaging youth aged 12 to 17 in an exploration of kitchen fundamentals. Participants will work closely with our chef to learn a variety of essential cooking techniques. The results: giving teenagers the cooking skills and confidence they will need for life.

Minimum of 4 participants. Maximum of 8. Safety protocols are in place. These classes must meet the 4-person minimum in order to run.

Per Class Price: $ 69 plus tax
