1-Week Camp, Half Days or Full Days
COOKING CAMP – mornings 9:00 to 11:30, daily
PASTRY CAMP – afternoons 13:00 to 15:30, daily
$ 375 for half-day camp, per week
$ 675 for full-day camp, per week
C’est Bon Cooking’s Teen Chef Camps go much further by engaging youth aged 10 to 17 in an extensive, week-long exploration of the fundamentals of French Cuisine techniques.
Full-Day Camp is a combination of the Cooking Camp and Pastry Camp.
Participants can stay for the entire day or leave at the lunch break and return for the afternoon camp.
Your child’s camp will include:
– Daily instruction by our chef
– All ingredients and equipment needed
– Apron to wear during classes
– Lunch during Cooking Camp, snacks during Pastry Camp
– Post-camp booklet of all completed recipes and photos taken during camp
SERIES A Menu:
COOKING: Soba Noodles with Salad and Homemade Vinaigrette, Black Bean Spicy Casserole, Risotto, Cheese Soufflé and Egg Omelette, Pan-Seared Chicken Breast with Sauce. PASTRY: Pineapple Tagine, Pâte-sucrée Tarts, Crème Brûlée, Almond Sponge Cake, Chocolate Soufflé
Series A weeks: July 11, July 25, August 15, and August 29
SERIES B Menu:
COOKING: Fresh Pasta with Sauce, Vegetarian Tikka Masala, Poached Fish and Mayonnaise, Egg Omelette and Eggs Benedict, Pan-Seared Chicken Leg with Sauce. PASTRY: Pavlova with Lemon Curd, Pâte à choux and Pastry Cream, Chocolate Gluten Free Cake, Palmiers and Trottoir, Vanilla Sponge Cake
Series B weeks: July 4, July 18, August 8 and August 22
Vegetarian option available, but not vegan, or gluten- or dairy- free. These menus are nut free.
**PLEASE NOTE – These camps require a high level of discipline and concentration on the part of the children in order to prevent injury and keep up with the pace of the class.
