Monday April 12th thru Friday April 16th, 2021

For youth aged 10 to 17, and their families! Hands-on explorations in kitchen fundamentals with our chef. Learn a variety of essential cooking and/or baking techniques. Classes are booked on an individual basis - choose every day, or just certain days, half days or full days!

Morning Classes - from 9:30am to 11:30am. 

Afternoon Classes - from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Classes include:

- Instruction by our chef

- Link for videoconference provided

- List of ingredients and equipment you will need to participant in the classes

Inquire about dietary substitutions. We are unable to provide a vegan, gluten- or dairy- free option on some days.

Virtual Food Kit

COOKING LIKE A CHEF - Virtual Cooking for Couples

1.5-hour, VIRTUAL Hands-on Class - from 5:30pm to 7pm     $ 195 per couple plus tax

Our most popular in-person culinary event has gone virtual during lockdown! For couples or family members who enjoy cooking together.

This class will offer a 3-course meal for two, delivered to your door*. You will get the appetizer and dessert ready to eat, and the ingredients to complete the main course with chef Georges over video conference. Your equipment list will be provided in advance.

*Delivery zone is within 25 kms of the ByWard Market. Additional cost for Ottawa addresses outside this zone. Option to pick up meal kit also available.  

Friday, April 9th - Menu: Creamy Tomato and Goat Cheese Soup, Maple and Ginger Quails, and Petit Pot de Chocolat

VIRTUAL CHEF - Learn-to-Cook Series

Series of Six Hands-on, Virtual Classes      $ 255 per connection, plus tax

Thursdays, March 11th to April 15th, 2021  -  from 5:30pm to 7:00pm    

Learn to cook! Participants will work closely with Chef Georges over video-conference to learn a variety of essential cooking techniques. The results: mastering fundamental cooking skills and building confidence.

What you'll need to participate:

A computer or device on which you can run Zoom;

A space in your kitchen to work, including access to your stove, refrigerator and sink;

A desire to learn!

Grocery and equipment lists will be shared upon registration.

Class 1:   Knife Skills - Alliums                        Class 4:    Cooking Fish

Class 2:   Stocks (and Butchery knife skills)    Class 5:    Egg-Based Sauces (Mayonnaise, Hollandaise)

Class 3:   Rice (Pilaf and Risotto)                    Class 6:    Desserts (Lemon Meringue Pie)

VIRTUAL CHEF - Seafood & Fish

Virtual 1.5-hour, hands-on          $ 35 per connection, taxes extra

Work via video-conference with chef Georges on recipes using fish, shrimp, lobster, scallops or other seafood. You'll receive coaching and tips & tricks for a gateway recipe that will launch a multitude of possibilities for meals and menus. 

Thursday, May 6th at 5:30 pm - SUSHI. Learn to make proper sushi rice, various Nigiri, Maki, and tempura
